Mongolia of today has to face a lot of ecological issues. One of them is deforestation. Climate change and fires are main causes. Yet there are other, less known causes, however of great importance – pastoral farming and illegal logging in northern parts of the country. The film explores a three-year Czech -Mongolian project of forest restoration and development based on local gene pool.
