The Ministry of the Environment in Slovakia announced the 21st annual international competition of art creativity of children and youth called Green world.

The competition aims to inculcate children with love for nature and the environment by creating habits and skills in artistic expression. In this year’s competition should work in the form of paintings, drawings, prints, color and monochrome, animation, comics reflect their view of nature in their immediate vicinity, within the theme Parks and gardens – My best place to live. Art competition is accompanying event of the International Film Festival Ekotopfilm – Envirofilm 2016. The event is organized by the Slovak Environmental Agency and fostered by European Commission Representation in Slovakia, Slovak Commission for UNESCO and the European Environment Agency.
Specialized jury will decide of the winners of the competition. Awards ceremony is scheduled for 16 May 2016 in Banska Bystrica at the International Film Festival Ekotopfilm – Envirofilm 2016.
