Festival Ekotopfilm has long tradition in Slovakia, and it is already taking roots in Czech Republic. Tomorrow October 15, 2016 is the day when Ekotopfilm festival will have Czech premiere in Hotel Olšanka in Prague.  More than 80 documentary films from all around the world will be screened, discussing beauty and richness of nature, newest technology and scientific discoveries, as well as crucial issues  of local and global importance.

Film Ewalds Garden will open up an issue that afflicts the whole world – drought. The situation in Senegal becomes unbearable. The director herself will talk at the festival how the filmmaking looked like, so come and join us!

Film festival will be accompanied by lectures and discussions. Many foreign guests will join us to talk about current issues. Tomáš Sedláček will talk about the future of our current direction on Earth. Ex-president of Microsoft Europe and couch Jan Mühlfeit will recommend how to properly support child’s potential.

As usual the morning is dedicated to our younger generation. Families and kids can look forward to a special segment of films aimed at children and youth.
